About the Role
Assured navigation and positioning. Assist with maturing, verifying, and deploying radar-based position, navigation, and timing (PNT) techniques to obtain high-precision GPS-agnostic self-localization solutions. Candidate should have strong experience with Kalman filtering, navigation, IMU integration, and synchronization techniques. Additional RF experience is a plus.
Requirements
The Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Engineer position is available in part-time, full-time, intern, and consultant capacities.
The candidate preferrably resides in the Ann Arbor region (remote location may be possible in some circumstances) and be able to support occasional field testing and data collection events. Some travel may be required.
A successful candidate has excellent communication skills, a solid engineering background, and a strong interest in autonomous vehicles, navigation, and/or radar sensing.
